USH – Höhensicherungsgerät

Das von CBR Rock Master entwickelte USH ist ein Höhensicherungsgerät nach EN 360:2002

Die beweglichen Teile des USH befinden sich im Inneren des Gehäuses [4]. Außerhalb des Gehäuses befinden sich zwei Teile des Geräts – die obere Öse zur Befestigung des Geräts am Arbeitsplatz [1] (dies darf nur an Anschlagpunkten des Typs A oder B gemäß EN 795: 2012 erfolgen, die mit Hilfe eines Verbindungsstücks gemäß EN362 an der Baustruktur fixiert sind) und ein nach unten gerichtetes Stahlseil mit Falldämpfer [3] und Karabiner, das als Anschlagpunkt für den Mitarbeiter dient [2]. Der Karabiner verbindet das Stahlseil [5] mit dem Auffanggurt des Benutzers.

Bei der Arbeit ist der Karabiner des USH [2] mit dem Auffanggurt verbunden. Wenn der Benutzer sich vom HSG entfernt, wird das Stahlseil der Vorrichtung ausgefahren und bei der Bewegung auf das Gerät hin wird es dagegen durch den inneren Mechanismus automatisch eingezogen. Die maximal zulässige Abweichung von der Mittelachse des Geräts beträgt 40°.

Im Falle eines Sturzes besteht die Aufgabe des Geräts darin, das Seil sofort zu bremsen und den Sturz aufzufangen, sowie den Benutzer in der hängenden Position so lange zu stützen, bis Hilfe eintrifft.

Das USH-Höhensicherungsgerät ist mit einem Absturzanzeiger ausgestattet [6].

The USH SRL is additionally equipped with a lowering brake, activated via radio signals from a supervisor’s remote. The monitoring can be carried out through any device connected to the local network or to the internet. The USH has a movement sensor allowing for the constant monitoring of the device’s current status: ready to work, in use, fall arrest alert. Should a fall occur, the base transceiver will emit a sound. The base transceiver is activated as soon as it is connected to a power source and remains constantly active, monitoring all the data traffic from SRLs and the remotes. The WiFi server will, according to settings, set up its own hotspot network or log into an existing one.

In the case of an emergency, the supervisor will initiate a lowering procedure by activating the automated release system via the remote or will undertake other steps, according to situation. All the monitoring system is based on transceivers located in the industrial halls. Where steel structures are placed densely, an additional repeater should be used at 80 m (straight line) from a transceiver. For open spaces a repeater is only required every 400 m.

The radio signal is not disrupted by metal parts of the device itself.
